New Car Ceramic Coating in Paisley: Land Rover Defender OCTA in Petra Copper Metallic
This brand new 2026 Land Rover Defender OCTA came to my workshop at Murray Business Park, Paisley for my New Car Ceramic Coating package. The aim was to protect its Petra Copper Metallic paintwork from day one.
Why a new car still needs paint preparation
Even a car straight from the factory needs proper preparation. New paintwork can carry transport residue, fallout and embedded contaminants picked up on the way to the dealer. If a coating goes on over these, it won’t bond properly and won’t last as long as it should.
Before any coating went on, I fully decontaminated the paintwork. That left a clean, properly prepped surface for the coating to bond to.
The protection: Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating
Once prepped, I protected the paintwork with Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating. It gives the OCTA:
- A deep, glossy finish that shows off the Petra Copper Metallic
- Long-lasting protection against UV rays, road grime, bird droppings and everyday contaminants
- A slicker surface that is easier to wash and keep clean
Built for the rough stuff
The Defender is built for tough conditions, and now its paintwork is ready for them too. Protecting it from the start helps preserve the finish and the value of the car long term.
