Mini ONE JCW after Minor Paint Correction in Paisley at DMD Car Detailing

Taking It Up a Level

Minor Paint Correction takes the Enhancement Detail up a level: a heavier cut polish removes deeper defects, followed by a second stage of machine polishing to significantly enhance gloss. Depending on the vehicle and its condition, this typically achieves around an 80% reduction in swirl marks — a noticeable step up from the single-stage Enhancement service.

Inspection

Before polishing began, the paintwork was assessed under high-intensity lighting to confirm the extent of the marring and establish that a two-stage approach was the right fit.

The Correction

  1. Stage one – heavier cutting polish: to remove deeper defects and restore depth to the Moonwalk Grey finish.
  2. Stage two – finishing polish: to significantly enhance gloss and eliminate any remaining micro-marring.

Ceramic Coating Protection

Once corrected, the paintwork was protected with Carbon Collective Ceramic Coating, with 2 or 5-year protection options available depending on how much long-term protection the customer wants. This locks in the corrected finish and makes ongoing maintenance considerably easier.

The Result

A high-quality, glossy finish with significantly reduced swirl marks and lasting protection — the Mini ONE JCW left the workshop looking sharp and ready for the road
