Ceramic Coating and Paint Correction for Bearsden Drivers
When you own a car you care about, you want it in the hands of someone who'll treat it properly. That matters more than whoever is closest.
I've been detailing cars for nearly 20 years, and I specialise in ceramic coating and paint correction. Every job is done by me, in my indoor workshop at Murray Business Park in Paisley, under proper inspection lighting. Customers come from across Glasgow and beyond for that level of care, and Bearsden is an easy drive over the Erskine Bridge.

Multi-Stage Paint Correction
Dark and soft paints on prestige and performance cars show every swirl. I take the time to correct them properly, panel by panel, and only remove as much clear coat as is needed. See major paint correction, or all my paint correction services.
Long-Term Ceramic Protection
For cars you're keeping, the Carbon Collective dual-coating system gives up to five years of protection, with a self-healing top coat. Feynlab V2 offers up to two years for cars you'll change sooner. See my ceramic coatings.
New Cars and Matte Finishes
I protect new cars from day one with a new car ceramic coating, and look after matte and satin finishes with dedicated matte paint protection.
Getting to DMD from Bearsden
My workshop is at Unit 90A, Murray Business Park, Murray Street, Paisley PA3 1QT. From Bearsden it's around 25 minutes over the Erskine Bridge, usually a straightforward drive outside rush hour.
Most correction and coating work takes a few days, so this is a drop-off service: bring the car in, and I'll keep you updated with photos as the work progresses. Paisley St James train station is a few minutes' walk from the workshop if you need to get back.
I also look after cars from nearby Milngavie and across Glasgow.

Review by Neil Johnston "Got new car ceramic coating done by Davie and he did a great job. Based in Paisley a short walk from Paisley St James train station made it easy to get to. I live in Glasgow but 2 stops in the train and I was there. Car looked stunning after he was finished."
David was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He carried out minor paint correction and a two-stage ceramic coating, which has completely transformed the look of my car — it looks amazing! David also applied leather protection to my light-coloured interior, giving me extra peace of mind. I travelled down from Glasgow and found DMD Detailing very easy to get to. This is actually the third car I’ve had paint correction and ceramic coating carried out on by DMD Detailing, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The quality of the work and attention to detail are second to none. I would highly recommend David and DMD Detailing to anyone looking for a professional, high-quality finish.

FAQ
Why travel to Paisley when there are detailers closer?
For a coating or correction, the person doing the work matters more than the miles. I've been doing this for nearly 20 years and I do every job myself, under proper lighting. Many of my customers travel from across Glasgow for that reason.
Do you come out to Bearsden?
No. Correction and coating need a controlled indoor space with the right lighting and no dust or rain, which isn't possible on a driveway. That's why all my work is done at the workshop.
Is my car safe while it's with you?
Your car stays inside my workshop while I work on it.
How long will my car be with you?
Most coatings take one to four days, and multi-stage corrections can take longer. I'll give you a clear timescale before you book.
