Paint Enhancement Detail on a 2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV6 in Yulong White
This 2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV6 came to my workshop at Murray Business Park, Paisley for a Paint Enhancement Detail. I carried out a single-stage machine polish to refine the Yulong White metallic paintwork and bring back a deep, rich gloss, then protected it with Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating.
The challenge: Yulong White paintwork
Yulong White is a beautiful finish, but it’s notorious for showing swirl marks and holograms in bright, direct light. On a car like the Autobiography, those marks take away the crisp, clean look the paint should have, and they become more obvious the more sunlight hits the bodywork.
The solution: single-stage machine polish
A Paint Enhancement Detail suits paintwork that is in fairly good condition but has lost its clarity and shine. I carried out a careful single-stage machine polish across the bodywork to remove the swirls and holograms and restore a crisp, clean shine befitting an Autobiography, without taking off more paint than necessary.
Protection: Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating
Once the correction was complete, I protected the paintwork with Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating. It gives the Range Rover:
- A deep, reflective finish that locks in the results of the polish
- Long-term protection against UV rays, dirt and everyday contaminants
- A slicker surface that is easier to wash and maintain
The result is a finish that is easier to look after and should stay looking flawless for months to come.
