This stunning Jaguar F-Type V8 AWD recently underwent my Minor Paint Correction Detail, featuring a two-stage machine polish to enhance gloss, remove light paint defects, and restore maximum clarity to the Sapphire Black paintwork.
Inspection
Before polishing began, the paintwork was checked under high-intensity lighting to confirm the extent of the marring on this deep, unforgiving black finish.
The Correction
The F-Type received a two-stage machine polish:
- Stage one – cutting/enhancement polish: [pad/compound used] to remove the majority of the swirl marks and restore depth to the Sapphire Black finish.
- Stage two – finishing polish: [pad/polish used] to eliminate any remaining micro-marring and achieve maximum gloss and clarity.
Ceramic Coating Protection
Once the paint was refined, it was protected with the outstanding Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating, providing durable protection, incredible gloss, and making future maintenance much easier — particularly valuable on a dark colour like Sapphire Black, where every mark shows.
