Motorbike Enhancement Detail & Ceramic Coating in Paisley
MOTORBIKE ENHANCEMENT DETAIL
Not every motorbike arrives showroom-fresh. If your bike has been ridden for a while and is showing swirl marks, light scratches, faded lacquer or a dull finish that a regular wash just won't shift, my Motorbike Enhancement Detail is built for exactly that. This is a more intensive service than a straightforward new-bike coating — it's aimed at bikes that need genuine correction work before protection is applied, restoring the paintwork to a like-new standard and then locking that finish in for years to come.
What's Included
- Multi-stage decontamination – Rather than a single pass, the paintwork and wheels go through several stages of decontamination to strip away built-up tar, iron deposits, brake dust and other contaminants that have bonded to the surface over time. This is a deeper clean than a factory-fresh bike would ever need.
- Multi-stage machine polishing – Using multiple polishing stages with progressively finer compounds and pads, swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and general dullness are worked out of the clear coat, bringing back sharp reflections and a deep, glass-like finish.
- 5 Year Ceramic Coating application – Once the correction work is complete, a professional-grade ceramic coating is applied by hand, chemically bonding to the freshly corrected paint to lock in the finish and provide up to 5 years of protection against UV, tar, road grime and chemical staining.
Who This Detail Is For
This detail suits motorbikes that have covered some miles, been stored outdoors, or simply haven't had professional correction work done before. If you can see fine scratches or swirl marks under direct light, or the paint looks hazy rather than glossy, this is the level of detail that will actually fix it — rather than just adding a protective layer over existing defects.
Enhancement Detail vs. New Motorbike Protection
It's a common question, so worth explaining directly: my New Motorbike Ceramic Coating Protection detail is designed for bikes with little to no existing paint damage — new deliveries, or bikes still in excellent condition — and includes a single machine polish stage to remove any minor transport marks before coating. The Enhancement Detail goes considerably further, with multiple stages of both decontamination and machine polishing to correct genuine wear and imperfections that have built up over time. If you're not sure which one your bike needs, send over some photos and I'll advise honestly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different to a standard wash and polish?
A standard wash and polish only removes surface dirt and adds temporary shine. The Enhancement Detail involves a full chemical decontamination followed by multiple stages of machine polishing to genuinely correct swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation in the clear coat — then seals that corrected finish under a 5 year ceramic coating.
Will machine polishing remove all my bike's scratches?
Machine polishing removes fine swirl marks, light scratches and surface haze effectively. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat may be reduced in appearance but can't always be fully removed without repainting — I'll always give you an honest assessment before starting work.
How long does the Enhancement Detail take?
Because it involves multiple correction stages rather than a single pass, this detail takes longer than a standard new-bike protection package. Get in touch for current turnaround times.
How long will the ceramic coating last after correction?
The same 5 year ceramic coating is used as on new motorbikes, so with proper care and maintenance it protects the corrected paintwork for up to five years.
