Car Detailing for Erskine Drivers
If you're the sort of person who washes the car on the driveway every weekend, you'll know the frustration. However careful you are, the paint slowly picks up fine swirls, and the shine never quite lasts as long as the effort you put in.
I've been detailing cars for nearly 20 years, working from my indoor workshop at Murray Business Park in Paisley, around 10 minutes from Erskine. I specialise in ceramic coating and paint correction, and I do every job myself.

Paint Correction: A Fresh Start
I machine polish out the swirls and light scratches that build up from years of washing, under proper inspection lighting. It brings the paint back to a deep, clear gloss. I offer three levels: paint enhancement, minor paint correction and major paint correction.
Ceramic Coating: Make Every Wash Easier
Once the paint is corrected, a ceramic coating locks it in. Dirt slides off, water beads and sheets away, and drying is quicker, so your weekend wash takes far less effort and is far less likely to add new swirls. I use Feynlab and Carbon Collective coatings. See my ceramic coatings.
Wheels and Glass
Wheel coatings make brake dust wipe away, and glass coatings help rain clear the windscreen. Both are easy extras alongside a paint coating.
Top-Ups When You Need Them
A ceramic coating maintenance detail every so often deep cleans the car and tops up the coating, so your home washing keeps paying off.
Getting to Me from Erskine
My workshop is at Unit 90A, Murray Business Park, Murray Street, Paisley PA3 1QT, around 10 minutes from Erskine. I open at 7:30am, Monday to Friday, so you can drop off on the way to work. Paisley St James train station is a few minutes' walk from the workshop.
I also look after cars from nearby Renfrew, Linwood, Bishopton and Inchinnan.
Book Your Car In
Send me a few photos of your paint in sunlight, so I can see the swirls, and tell me how you usually wash the car. I'll recommend the right level of correction and protection. Get in touch here, call me on 07402 223002, or see my price list.
FAQ
Can I still wash my car myself after a coating?
Yes, and it's much easier. Use a pH-neutral shampoo, a pre-wash or snow foam, two buckets and a clean mitt, and a soft drying towel. I'll give you simple aftercare advice when you collect the car.
What should I avoid on a coated car?
Brush car washes, harsh traffic film removers, and old sponges or chamois leathers. They can all wear the coating or scratch the paint underneath.
Why does my paint get swirls when I'm so careful?
Usually from grit trapped in the wash mitt or towel, or drying the car with too much pressure. A coating helps a lot, because dirt lifts off more easily and you touch the paint less.
How long will my car be with you?
Most coatings take one to four days, depending on how much correction the paint needs. I'll give you a clear timescale when you book.
