Your vehicle will under go a safe wash process, including paintwork and wheels being fully decontaminated from tar, iron deposits etc, paintwork clay barred and then machine polished to remove any surface defects such as fine swirl marks resulting in adding gloss and depth to the paint before applying the Gyeon Q2 One EVO Ceramic Coating, Feynlab V2 Ceramic Coating or Carbon Collective Ceramic Coating System to ensure that your vehicle's paintwork is fully protected.

Due to the increasingly popularity in matte and satin paint finishes from the likes of BMW, Peugeot, Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo and of course you can now have your car wrapped in these finishes, DMD Car Detailing are now providing Matte & Satin Paint Protection service.
Although matt paint finishes on cars are becoming ever more popular and look fantastic they are more prone to staining and marking and have to be cleaned and protected with specialist matte paint care products. These specialist products help remove dirt and grime and also prevent water spots appearing on the finish.

How long does ceramic coating paint protection last?
It depends on the coating used. Our Exterior Protection Detail gives up to 12 months of protection, the Gyeon Q2 One EVO coating gives around 1 year, Feynlab V2 gives 2 years, and the Carbon Collective Dual Coating System can last up to 5 years with proper maintenance.
Should I get paint protection before my new car is delivered?
Yes, we recommend having a New Car Protection Package applied as soon as possible after delivery. This protects the factory paintwork from swirl marks, contamination and environmental damage before it has a chance to pick up wear, and gives a better long-term finish than dealer-applied protection packages.

Does matte or satin paint need special care?
Yes. Matte and satin finishes are more prone to staining and water marks than gloss paint, and can be damaged by standard polishes and waxes. We use specialist matte-safe products and the Gyeon Q2 Matte ceramic coating, which protects the finish without adding shine.
What's the difference between paint correction and paint protection?
Paint correction removes existing defects such as swirl marks, scratches and hazing using machine polishing. Paint protection, such as ceramic coating, is then applied afterwards to shield the corrected paintwork from future damage, contamination and UV exposure.
